Bill Teater...
When Bill was almost 17, he committed his life to the Lord. Bill graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Agronomy and began working for USDA Conservation service shortly after graduating as a soil scientist. While attending U of I, Bill was on volunteer staff for Youth for Christ, Campus Life ministry, which is where he met his wife, Debbie. In 1998 Bill began his soils consulting business, which he does on his "days off".
In 1985 the Lord brought the Teater family to Tremont. It only took one Sunday for the Teaters to know that Northfield was where the Lord wanted them. They were attracted to the deep commitment to the Lord that was evident in the members of Northfield. After a couple of years, they were so endeared to the fellowship and community of Tremont they didn't want to leave. While Bill's USDA job required moving every 3 to 5 years, the Lord provided ways for Teaters to stay in Tremont. Bill has been able to serve the Lord in a variety of ways during his time at Northfield, most recently as elder (2000). Bill and Debbie have six children and cherish their time together as a family. They are avid tent campers, and love the outdoors and country life.
Tim Klaus...
I'm Tim Klaus, one of the elders at NCF since 1994. I'm an electrician by trade. In 1970 I married Carole Riggenbach & she has been my constant, loving companion ever since. God has blessed us with 3 wonderful children; Beth, Phil and Paul. They have all married Godly spouses and are raising families of their own here in Tremont. I enjoy teaching, lay counseling and sharing in various elder responsibilities. Among Carole's various gifts is that of hospitality. Together we team up to have many people in our home for friendship and relational building. Some of my special interests are: Young earth creation studies, nutritional healing, and various simple science projects that seek to discover the glory of God in nature.
Having become a Christian in 1967 at the age of 18, there are two great truths of which I am slowly having increasing perception. One is the utter sinfulness of my flesh and heart apart from the saving grace of Christ. The other is the unlimited divine nature and person of Christ to be everything I'll ever want or need.

Brad Crumrine...
Brad and his wife Lori have called Northfield home since 1984. They are the parents of 3 children; Daniel, Emily, and Joseph.
He is grateful for the opportunities he has had to serve in a number of roles since coming to know the Lord. These service opportunities have included college and career group leader, Young Life volunteer leader, and teaching High School and Adult Sunday school classes. Since 1991, he has served as a minister at Northfield.
His idea of fun things to do includes walking, driving, reading, and spending time with his family.
Brad has an associates degree in Ag Business Management from ICC and a Bachelors in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from Sangamon State University (now University of Illinois - Springfield).
He has been employed in the information technology field as a web developer for nearly 4 O years after working with knowledge based expert systems for 2 years. His employment has included working at a seed corn plant, a rebar shop, a construction supply store, a freight dock, and his personal favorite, driving trucks. Hopefully, he will find something he can stick with before he retires.
Wally Geyer...
Hi, I'm Wally Geyer, one of the preaching ministers at NCF for the past 23 years. My "day job" is industrial engineering at Caterpillar, and I like solving problems. My wife Bonnie and I have six children ranging from 14 to 32 years old, and parenting and grandparenting continue to be huge blessings in our lives.
Over the years, I've enjoyed working in nearly every aspect of ministry at NCF, but preaching Jesus Christ continues to be my passion. Some people once told Jesus' disciples, "We want to see Jesus." So do I and I bet you do, too! And that's what I focus on in preaching ñ to reveal the heart of God and to explore what it means to follow Jesus Christ.
Don Stuber...
Hi, I'm Don Stuber.
Roger Stuber...
Roger Stuber served as a short-term missionary in Papua New Guinea from 1976 through 1980 with Tiliba Christian Church. Involved with general maintenance and construction as well as helping to establish a vibrant youth ministry among the Southern Highlands churches.
He served with RBMU International and World Team in Irian Jaya, Indonesia from 1984 through 2001. Roger, along with his wife, Gwen, and their three children spent 17 years working with Regions Wings, the aviation arm of RBMU / World Team. In addition to flying and maintaining the Cessna 185 fleet, Roger also mentored a group of church leaders in the swampy, lowland Mamberamo district, taught at numerous youth retreats throughout the province, and was a guest instructor at several local Bible schools.
Roger and Gwen returned to the USA in 2001 to facilitate the stateside orientation and education of their 3 children. They reside in Tremont, IL where Roger is currently working as builder, constructing custom homes, while Gwen is a homemaker. Both are active at Northfield Christian Fellowship in Tremont, where Roger is a lay minister and a member of the mission's committee. Gwen is active in women's Bible studies and the mentoring of young women.
Doug Rumbold...
My name is Doug Rumbold and I have been the youth pastor here at NCF since May of 2006. The following is an account of how God brought me to this position.
In the summer of 1995 I worked as a counselor at an evangelistic day camp for kids K-6th grade, Camp of Champions. It was during this summer job that God began working in my heart to create a passion for young people and the proclamation of truth to them. I worked at the camp for the following 3 years.
In the fall of 1997 I went to Judson College and majored in Youth Ministry/Adolescent Studies. It was during the first semester at Judson that God took my brother Ben home in an accident pressing on my heart the absolute urgency of getting the message of truth to receptive ears and stretching me spiritually like I never imagined possible.
Upon graduation of Judson in 2001 I began searching for schools to further my training. The following August I moved to North Carolina and began my graduate studies in Community Counseling. I became connected with Triangle Community Church in Apex, N.C. God brought people into my life with similar passion and direction and I was able to be part of pioneering a ministry to college and career individuals for the church. I poured myself into Pivot (the ministry) and God blessed its growth and influence as people were strengthened spiritually and moved to action. As my studies and ministry continued God saw fit to insert Jessica (my lovely wife). On January 2nd, 2004 my most important ministry began as Jess and I were married. We returned from our honeymoon and Jess packed up her life to follow me out to N.C. Jess was quickly helping me with Pivot responsibilities as well as quizzing me for graduate exams. Time pressed on and my job (manager in food service for the university I attended) became increasingly demanding, about this time our daughter Jada was welcomed into the world (March 4th, 2005). When Jada was at the ripe old age of 2 months I cut ties with the company, packed up the family, and moved from N.C. to Illinois.
Through a series of amazing events and much answered prayer we found ourselves at NCF. I began volunteering with the youth and praying for what God would have me do with my career and family (at the time I was working for my brother and brother-in-law at a company called Morton Automatic Electric). In what can only be described as a whirlwind, God brought forth the position of youth pastor and Jess and I began praying intently towards having that position. God is good and faithful, giving us the desire of our hearts (assuming the desire is Biblical and in His timing), and this case was no exception. On May 1st 2006 I set foot in the church for the first time as Youth Pastor. What a blessing, honor, and unbelievable answer to prayer. In college the idea of a position like this seemed so far off and it was, but God was faithful and continues to be how undeserving am I of His grace. All glory to God for where my wife, daughter and I are this day.
